ABOUT: The AIDS Committee of Western Newfoundland Inc. (ACWN) is a hard-working, volunteer group, dedicated to increasing awareness of HIV and AIDS in our region and assisting people whose lives have been affected by the virus. ACWN was incorporated in 1992. Since this date, the AIDS Committee of Western Newfoundland (ACWN) has been very active in the region. Our efforts have been directed primarily towards raising HIV / Aids awareness through health promotion and education, particularly among the younger generation.
