SERVICES: Housing Access Centre, registry, waitlist, rent-geared-to-income, non-profit, co-operative housing, homeless shelters, transitional housing, supportive housing, permanent accommodation.
ABOUT: The City of London, Housing division administers Social Housing Programs such as the Private Non-Profit Housing Program (both Federal and Provincial providers) and the Co-operative Housing Program. These communities are owned and operated on a not-for-profit basis by community based boards. Within the Middlesex County region, there are 64 private non-profit and cooperative Housing Corporations, governed by Boards of Directors who are responsible for the overall management of the buildings.
