ABOUT: The Algoma District Services Administration Board (ADSAB) provides Children’s Services, Emergency Medical Services, Housing Services, Ontario Works and other related programs in accordance with provincial legislation and provincial directives.  The ADSAB area of jurisdiction is the twenty organized municipalities and the unincorporated townships within the geographic District of Algoma.  The ADSAB area excludes the City of Sault Ste. Marie, the Township of Prince and those 31 unincorporated townships within the Sault North Planning Board area. “Housing Services” is housing made available with rent amounts which are geared to your income. It is also often referred to as “Subsidized Housing”.  The Housing Services Program is intended for households with low to moderate incomes who are unable to find suitable, affordable housing in the private rent market.  NOTE: Affordable housing costs are considered to be no more than 30% of a household’s gross income.
