ABOUT: AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI) is a community-based AIDS Service Organization (ASO). We provide education, support, and advocacy for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and other communicable diseases. We have offices in the communities of Greater Victoria, Nanaimo, Courtenay and Campbell River. We operate a mobile needle exchange service in the Cowichan Valley and in the Port Hardy area and our catchment area includes all of the Gulf Islands.
