Make your voice heard at the AIDS Conference in Vienna (Survey)
The National AIDS Housing Coalition is requesting information on the state of HIV/AIDS housing around the world. This information will be compiled into a publication that will be presented at the International AIDS Conference in Vienna in July 2010.
This publication is a product of the International AIDS Housing Roundable, a forum for discussion of issues pertaining to housing instability and HIV/AIDS. The Roundtable is intended to promote international dialogue
toward the development and implementation of public policies that recognize the critical role of housing both in the prevention of HIV transmission and in the care of people who are living with HIV/AIDS. To join the Roundtable, visit the Yahoo Group.
This Community Survey is open to anyone working on or affected by the twin crises of HIV/AIDS and housing instability in their communities, nations, and around the world. Please identify the community you describe in the survey.
If you prefer to send a written report and/or supplemental materials instead of submitting the survey, you may do that as well. We highly encourage everyone to send pictures documenting the housing in your community along with your written testimony. If you have any questions about this survey or you wish to submit additional written or visual testimony, please direct communications to Lauren Nussbaum at lauren@nationalaidshousing.org.
The deadline for the survey and all submissions is March 14th, 2010. To access the survey, click here.
